Mêk-damê Fêqê (/ˈfɘlë/ /ˈdamɘ/ [bad; evil] [society]) is a subtropical Town located in Gecfi̊iē̼ County, Pimthêkpíidi Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Mêk-damê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Mêk-damê Fêqê was founded by Trîbê Brgfë, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Mêk-damê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 21°C (69°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 10°C (50°F). Mêk-damê Fêqê receives an average of 270 cm/y (106 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Mêk-damê Fêqê covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1104 m (3622 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Mêk-damê Fêqê was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1281, by Trîbê Brgfë. The establishment of Mêk-damê Fêqê suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Mêk-damê Fêqê which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Mêk-damê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mêk-damê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Mêk-damê Fêqê is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of broad cobblestone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Mêk-damê Fêqê's timber-based walls are in an unremarkable state. Mêk-damê Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Mêk-damê Fêqê's grid is powered by mana accumulators.

Mêk-damê Fêqê's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Mêk-damê Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Mêk-damê Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Mêk-damê Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Mêk-damê Fêqê has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Life is hard in Mêk-damê Fêqê. Its people are impoverished compared to their peers elsewhere. Something is making the locals stay, however, whether fear of the alternative, hope for a better future, or a stubborn attachment to their ancestral lands. Whatver the reason, living in this harsh area for generations has made the people of Mêk-damê Fêqê a notably resourceful and hearty people.

Mêk-damê Fêqê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

In Mêk-damê Fêqê hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.

The Bumblebee, Giant Queen near Mêk-damê Fêqê are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Mêk-damê Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves drinking to channel Charm energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.
